Rainbow’s End

I see through

a rose veil,

you tell me

everything is blue.

Orange and violet

are cast beside us,

yellow and green

in between.

I take your hand

at the rainbow’s end

and it changes

hue

from a color

only lent

my friend.

Where will we be

when the rain

starts again?

Circle Rainbow

There in the
quiet

curled in
bedsheets
and white walls

remember
the circle rainbow

we saw
a great ring of color
against the blue sky

and
the unicorn mast
and
the great flag
of love

remember how
we knew
friendship

stood between

the seen

and the wonders
in our hearts.
